Adventure Canada is privileged to work with the people who call the region being visited home—not just on shore, but also aboard. Regional representatives are at the heart of their shipboard staff. Their culture, language, and local understanding of life and the land are woven into their programming.
By working in cooperation with Inuit and First Nations communities, and by travelling with local culturalists aboard wherever they go, Adventure Canada seeks to deepen their connections between cultures as they travel.
Adventure Canada has more than thirty years of relationships and friendships in the regions they visit. Since the beginning, Adventure Canada has worked in cooperation with communities and individuals at the most local level possible. In particular, they have formed working relationships, friendships, and even family connections across Canada’s Inuit regions: Nunavut, Nunavik, and Nunatsiavut.
Adventure Canada is also proud supporters and grateful guests of the Miawpukek First Nation on Newfoundland’s south shore and countless hamlets, outports, and villages everywhere they go.
